DELPHI, Ind. (WTHR) — Libby German's sister, Kelsi, plans to address rumors surrounding the family as the Delphi investigation continues.
Libby German and Abby Williams were murdered on Feb. 13, 2017. The suspect is still out there.
And while the family and investigators are working to get answers, Kelsi says the families are dealing with rumors and "negativity" that are hindering the case.
"Not my family or Abby's family or me did anything wrong and should not have to continue to defend ourselves to clueless individuals who 99.9% of the time live no where near us and are only in Facebook discussion groups to start drama," Kelsi posted.
Kelsi said she plans to "go live" on social media July 9 at 8 p.m. to "debunk some rumors because it's important that the people who really care about our girls know the truth behind them."
She said she will address the five most frequent rumors sent to her. She also plans to make changes to her social media profiles as a result of all of this.
