CLAY COUNTY (WTWO) - A crash on I-70 in western Indiana Saturday sent one person to the hospital.
Three semi's were involved at westbound mile marker 19 near the Vigo-Clay county line around 2 p.m., according to WTWO, our NBC station in Terre Haute.
At least one semi burst into flames. The smoke could be seen from miles away.
First responders were able to get the driver out safely and get the fire put out.
One truck driver was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be okay.
The other two drivers were checked out, but didn't have any serious injuries.
Sgt. Joe Watts with Indiana State Police said this is a perfect reminder to be cautious and pay attention on the busy interstate.
