SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – Homicide detectives are investigating a deadly shooting on South Bend's northwest side.
Police were called to the 3400 block of Lincoln Way West at 10:54 p.m. Wednesday, according to NBC affiliate WNDU.
Police tell WNDU a suspect tried robbing the clerk of a gas station. The attempted robbery ended with the clerk being shot.
The clerk was transported to the hospital and later died.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
