Camden Harden holds the winning $10,000 check after hitting a 94-foot putt during a promotional contest at an Indiana State men’s basketball game.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — A senior at Indiana State University is $10,000 richer after sinking a full-court, 94-foot golf putt on a basketball court on Tuesday.

According to our newsgathering partners at the Tribune-Star in Terre Haute, Camden Harden made the full-court putt through a cutout hole on the opposite end of the court during a timeout in the Indiana State men's basketball game on Jan. 16.

The shot was part of a promotional event called "Putt for Dough" put on by sponsor Epic Insurance.

“I said, ‘I’ve just got to shoot it slow and straight,’” Harden said.

An economics major, Harden said he plans to put his winnings in the bank to save. His father, Allan, said his son has been playing golf for nearly seven years.
