INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - The Indiana State Police held a special graduation ceremony Friday for its new K-9 officers.
Six new furry officers will join the force along with their handlers. One other will become an officer at the School for the Deaf. They've completed their training to go on patrol and help with searches and other situations.
There was a special moment at the ceremony when K-9 handler Trooper Tyson Waldron of the Fort Wayne Post proposed to his girlfriend on the big screen, asking Emily Skidmore to marry him. She said yes!
