GRANT COUNTY, Ind. — Indiana State Police is investigating after one person died in a three-car crash on Interstate 69 in Grant County Thursday morning.
According to a release from ISP, around 9:35 a.m. on April 25, officers responded to an injury crash on I-69 in Grant County near the 269 mile-marker, which is near the State Road 18 exit.
The preliminary investigation determined a 2009 Chrysler minivan was traveling northbound when, for an unknown reason, the Chrysler rear-ended a Chevrolet Express van driven by a 49-year-old Indianapolis man. The crash caused the Chevrolet van to rear-end a semi-truck, driven by a 27-year-old from Georgia.
