INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana State Fair Commission has launched a website that will provide authorized personnel with information on an ongoing investigation into the Aug. 13 stage collapse that killed seven people at the State Fair.
The commission said Wednesday the website will provide updates on the accident investigation that international engineering firm Thornton Tomasetti is conducting for the fair commission.
Only authorized individuals will initially be permitted to enter the website.
Fair commission officials said Thornton Tomasetti has established a credential procedure and protocol for access to the site.
The state hired the company to investigate the collapse, in which strong winds ahead of a severe thunderstorm toppled the stage onto a crowd awaiting the start of a scheduled concert by country band Sugarland.
