INDIANAPOLIS — Metro police say two people are dead after an early morning shooting on Indy's near west side.
Police were called to the 3600 block of West Michigan Street near North Somerset Avenue around 1:15 a.m. on reports of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they found two victims, one male and one female. The shootings are believed to have happened outside.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
