INDIANAPOLIS — They probably don't teach this at the police academy!
According to IMPD, Officer McWhorter was reporting to an incident on the city's east side Sunday, July 12 in the 6800 block of East 21st Street near Shadeland Avenue when he was flagged down by a different person needing help.
Police say McWhorter stopped to help a woman in labor deliver a baby boy.
A July 14 tweet from the department said the mom and baby are both doing well.
