INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD said one person has died after a crash on the city's north side Sunday evening.
Around 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 31, responded to a report of a serious car crash in the area of Spring Mill Road and Kessler Boulevard West Drive.
The crash was initially reported as a crash with serious bodily injury but was later changed to a fatal crash.
IMPD says this is one of several crashes that have occurred on New Year's Eve. Slick roads caused by light snow and cold temperatures have created black ice and slippery roads across Indianapolis.
Police are reminding drivers to stay safe if they are traveling for the holiday.
