INDIANAPOLIS — A 28-year-old was killed in a crash on the south side of Indianapolis Friday night.
The crash happened on East Stop 11 Road, near Madison Avenue, shortly before 11 p.m. Aug. 9. IMPD officers arrived and confirmed a pedestrian was killed in a suspected hit-and-run crash.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 28-year-old Jeanclaude Lubunga.
Shortly before 8 p.m. on Aug. 10, IMPD announced it had located the suspect vehicle and officially called the crash a fatal hit-and-run.
Police said the investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
