INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating a deadly crash that occurred on Indianapolis' near north side early Thursday morning.
Officers responded to the crash shortly after midnight at the intersection of East 24th and North Delaware streets.
IMPD said preliminary information leads officers to believe a car was traveling westbound on East 24th Street when it failed to stop for a stop sign and struck a vehicle traveling on North Delaware Street.
The driver of the car traveling on Delaware Street was transported to Eskenazi Hospital where he was pronounced deceased, IMPD said.
Authorities have not shared the names of the drivers involved, or if any charges will be filed as a result of the crash.
