IFD puts out vacant house fire on Indy's near northeast side

IFD crews responded to the 3000 block of North Arsenal Avenue to a two-story house on fire Monday around 5:15 a.m.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Fire Department successfully put out a vacant house fire on Indy's near northeast side Monday morning.

IFD crews responded to the 3000 block of North Arsenal Avenue, near Dr. Andrew J. Brown Avenue, around 5:15 a.m. Nov. 6 to a two-story house on fire.

Firefighters were able to contain the flames within about 30 minutes.

An IFD spokesperson confirmed nobody was injured in the fire.

An investigation is ongoing to determine how the fire started.
