INDIANAPOLIS — Firefighters battled an early morning house fire in Stringtown west of the White River early Monday morning.
The call to the vacant house on Richland Street just south of New York Street came in just after 3 a.m. The fire had spread through most of the brick house, leading to a defensive attack by crews at the scene.
Nobody was hurt and the fire was under control in about 30 minutes, according to IFD.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
