INDIANAPOLIS — There's a renewed push for answers in a suspected case of arson in an Indianapolis neighborhood nearly four years ago.
It comes with a $5,000 reward.
The fire happened in the 1200 block of East 91st Street, just east of North College Avenue, in the early morning hours of Nov. 7, 2020.
The Indianapolis Fire Department is working with the state fire marshal's office to determine who was responsible.
Investigators believe advances in technology and new information from the public could help close the case.
“We are hopeful that someone out there has a piece of information that could be the key to solving this case,” IFD Battalion Chief Vernon Garard said. “We encourage anyone who may have seen or heard something related to the fire to please contact our investigators.”
When the fire happened, 13News reported dogs in the house woke up a sleeping couple. Everyone was able to get out safely.
The reward offered is for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in this case.
