INDIANAPOLIS — There are currently hundreds job openings for this summer's Indiana State Fair.
Fair officials are looking for parking attendants, gate staff, security personnel and other seasonal workers.
A job fair was held Wednesday, June 5 at the fairgrounds, but there will be other opportunities to apply.
"People love to work the fair, and so we have a lot of people who come back to us every year," said Mark Anderson, director of human resources. "People enjoy it, and it's great for us to be able to offer some employment."
Starting Monday, June 10, if you're interested in a job at the fair, you can stop by the employment office at the fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The office is located at the northeast corner of the fairgrounds, located at 1202 E. 38th St.
The Indiana State Fair kicks off Aug. 2.
