Home improvement fraud suspect faces $60,000 worth of new complaints

Six homeowners filed complaints totaling more than $60,000 in losses.

LEBANON, Ind. (WTHR) - A Boone County contractor was arrested a second time recently, accused of not doing work for which he had been paid.

Randall Blake Copeland may look familiar. He was arrested late last year after a woman says she paid him $9,000 to repair her roof. That work was never finished.

WTHR's news gathering partners at The Lebanon Reporter said more homeowners came forward, claiming they were also defrauded by Copeland.

In all, six homeowners filed complaints totaling more than $60,000 in losses.

Copeland now faces another charge of home improvement fraud.

A trial is set for May.
