INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — When Timoria Cunningham asked around about going to prom, many girls said they wouldn't be going because of the cost.
So the Herron High School senior decided to make some dreams come true.
Cunningham organized an event where teens can get free dresses and accessories for prom night. She called local stores and dress shops, and got them to donate brand-new items.
Girls chose their outfits Saturday.
"It makes me feel good that I was able to help other people," said Cunningham.
