NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WTHR) - The school bus driver accused of driving while intoxicated and crashing with students on board will serve a year of probation.
A judge handed down that sentence for Janet Shaw for leaving the scene of an accident causing injury.
Police say the Hamilton Heights bus driver drove into a ditch last year and then got back on the road and kept on going.
Shaw's husband claimed she was taking medication for back problems.
