Goody's announced it's liquidating its remaining stores just four months after emerging from bankruptcy.
Goody's was unable to restructure terms with creditors. This is the first high-profile retailer to go under in 2009.
Goody's operates 282 stores, including stores in Martinsville and Shelbyville. It employs 10,000 workers.
