WHITELAND, Ind. — Autumn weather arrived in central Indiana this week, so what better place to find some Good News than an Indiana farm filled with fall fun?
Dave Calabro headed south to Kelsey Farms in Whiteland this week, where he met a group of kids from Honey Grove Preschool, who were enjoying a day on the farm.
The preschoolers took a ride on a cow-shaped train, called the "Moo Choo Express," and climbed on giant stacks of hay bales and romped through giant tractor tires in a hay maze.
Dave quizzed the kids on their knowledge of farm animals and talked about all the things you can do with a pumpkin.
"Do you like pumpkin seeds?" he asked one girl.
"No," she quickly replied.
