Indy hospitals welcome first babies of 2024

All five of the babies were delivered in the first four hours of the year.

INDIANAPOLIS — While many were up early Monday morning ringing in the new year with friends and family, some lucky parents welcomed their newborns to the world.

Five Indianapolis hospitals shared their first baby deliveries of 2024. All five of the babies were delivered in the first four hours of the year.

Ascension St. Vincent Carmel Hospital welcomed its first baby at 12:01 a.m. 

Olivia Brown weighs 7 pounds, 9 ounces. Parents Brooke and Andrew Brown are from Westfield.

Community Health Network welcomed its first baby at 1:22 a.m.

Ismael Casillas-Caldera weighs 7 pounds, 8 ounces. Parents Dora Caldera and Adrian Casillas are from the south side of Indianapolis.

Eskenazi Health welcomed its first baby at 4 a.m. at the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Hospital.

Odensley Orilus weighs 6 pounds, 15 ounces.

Franciscan Health Indianapolis welcomed its first baby at 2:33 a.m.

Florence Miller weighs 5 pounds, 7 ounces. Parents Ella and Josh Miller are from Columbus, Indiana.

Riley Hospital for Children welcomed its first baby at 1 a.m.

Easton Denney is 6 pounds, 5 ounces.
