INDIANAPOLIS — It's time for some good news, and one of the coolest places to hang out on Mass Ave is The Garage Food Hall.
Dave met a barbershop customer who was happy to talk about his alma mater.
"I'm an IU grad and the football team's doing well," he said. "So it's a great time to be a Hoosier."
Dave also spoke with a visitor enjoying a family lunch.
"Hanging out with my mom," he said.
"That's pretty cool," Dave said. "Putting you on the spot here, what do you like best about your mom?"
"She's very smart," he said. Very smart and nice."
We also had a conversation with father who wanted to brag about his son.
"My son plays travel soccer, and he had four goals this weekend in one game, and I'm a proud father," he said.
"So scholarship?" Dave asked.
"I'm thinking," Dad responded with a smile. "I'm hoping, I am hoping. He's only 9, but I'm hoping we're looking to the future right now, so it'll be good."
