WHITELAND, Ind — It's Thursday, the day of the week 13Sports director Dave Calabro sets aside to seek out positive, uplifting stories across Indiana.
This week, we visited Kelsay Farms near Whiteland, where kids were enjoying the best of the fall season on a warm, sunny day.
Josie Kelsay told us it's their 17th year of hosting families and students on their farm.
"During the week, we have field trips come and enjoy the farm," Kelsay said. "We've got the jump pad over there, we've got them learning about animals and learning about all the different types that agriculture does for us."
Second-grade teacher Jessica Fulkerson brought her class to Kelsey's Thursday.
"The weather is beautiful, and we're having fun! I mean, look at all the kids, they're running around," Fulkerson said.
