Good News: Georgia Street

Dave found plenty of good news this week when he met fans visiting for this week's U.S. Olympic Swim Trials.

INDIANAPOLIS — Dave Calabro's ongoing quest to hear your good news took him to Georgia Street in downtown Indianapolis this week.

He got to meet several fans here for the U.S. Olympic Swim Trials. Dave jokingly told one visitor she'd have to give him her cup of ice cream in exchange for being interviewed.

"No, I'm fine," she said, smiling and clinging to the treat.

Another girl in the same group was excited to share her good news.

"I get to go to the Olympic Trials!" she said.

And yet another fan headed for this week's events got specific about who she wants to see in the pool.

"Katie Ledecky," she said. "Because she's good."

Dave asked her if she thought she could beat Katie Ledecky.

"No," she replied. "Cause she's too fast!"

Dave found several more fans of the seven-time Olympic gold medalist, one of whom called Ledecky "an icon" and another who said she hoped to see a world record by Ledecky in the upcoming Games.
