INDIANAPOLIS — It's Thursday, and it's time for some good news.
We're at Emma Donnan Elementary School, the home of the Bears, and we just met a staffer who is celebrating a big day.
"My good news is today is my birthday and I'm so excited for our partnership with the Colts here at Adelante Schools and just excited to be here," she said.
Another staff member had great things to say about Emma Donnan.
"Our students, their personalities, our parents and them always coming on board and supporting us and being partners with us, so it is the people that make this place, that make it so exciting to be here every day," she said.
And yet another teacher said she was grateful for her referral to the school.
"My best friend, Isha, works here and she invited me to come to this amazing school, so I've been here for two years now and I love it," she said. "Investing in my scholars and seeing them grow is really special, especially from the beginning of the year until the end."
