Good News: 60th Haunted House at Children's Museum of Indianapolis

More than 35,000 visitors enjoy this fun annual event.

INDIANAPOLIS — We're back this week for Good News, and this time, our Dave Calabro is at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis for the 60th anniversary of its haunted house.

"It is the longest-running haunted house in the country, something we are very proud of," a museum rep told 13News. "We have just been so excited to be able to continue this tradition that it's beloved by so many in Indianapolis and beyond."

Between the friendly lights-on visits and the spookier "scare if you dare" hours, the haunted house sees more than 35,000 visitors every Halloween season.

Proceeds help the museum fuel many of its programs, like StarPoint Summer Camp, reading programs and especially in the next few years, their capital campaign.
