Public sightings of alligators have seemed to become a common occurrence lately, but now they're climbing fences!
An eight-foot alligator climbed a chain link fence at a Fort Myers, Florida golf course this week. The gator scaled the barrier with ease, sliding right through the barbed wire at the top.
Eric Gilbert recorded the reptile and posted it to YouTube Wednesday.
Needless to say, those living near the golf course are terrified after seeing the video, including those with pets.
"I'm afraid if the alligator is out, he can come running after it, because he is a small dog," said Carol Huttenhoff.
"Of course I am, of course I'm afraid, they're wild animals! It's just...it's unbelievable," said Madeline Bricker.
