Friday is deadline to pay property taxes for Marion County residents

If you live in Marion County, Friday is the deadline to pay your property taxes.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — If you live in Marion County, today is the deadline to pay your property taxes.

There are several ways to pay:

  • Online payments can be made by clicking here. You can pay with an eCheck or a credit card and click on "Pay Your Property Taxes or View Current Tax Bill."
  • If you decide you want to make a payment over the phone, you can call 1-317-327-4TAX or 1-888-881-8986.
  • You can also mail in your payments, but make sure the envelope has a postmark of May 10 and send it to Marion County Treasurer, P.O. BOX 6145, Indianapolis, IN 46206-6145.
  • There's also the option to pay in person at the treasurer's office, located at 200 East Washington Street, Suite 1001 or any of the following financial institutions: Fifth Third Bank, Financial Center First Credit Union, First Financial Bank, Merchants Bank of Indiana, STAR Financial Bank and Stock Yards Bank & Trust.

Taxpayers must bring their original property tax statement, pay the full Spring installment and verify that the bank's business day is May 10. Some banks may charge a service fee.
