INDIANAPOLIS — The American Dairy Association Indiana is honoring veterans with milkshakes in honor of Veterans Day.

On Friday, Nov. 10, free 16-oz milkshakes will be distributed to U.S. veterans and active-duty military personnel who show their official ID during a four-hour long drive-thru event at the Indiana State Fairgrounds

The milkshakes will be distributed in front of the Dairy Bar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shakes are identical to the chocolate and vanilla signature shakes sold during the Indiana State Fair.

Up to six family members and friends of accompanying veterans/military personnel will also be eligible for free milkshakes.

The first 400 served will receive a special edition commemorative Veterans' Weekend Cup. The Indianapolis Colts' mascot Blue will also be at the event to help distribute milkshakes from 10 to 11 a.m.

Guests should enter the fairgrounds via Gate 6 off Fall Creek Parkway. From there, they'll be directed along Main Street of the fair to the Dairy Bar.
