FRANKFORT, Ind. (WTHR) - A man rescued from a Monday morning house fire in Frankfort has died from his injuries.
Firefighters reported the two-story farmhome on Rossville Avenue engulfed in flames when they arrived at about 2:20 Monday morning. They pulled the victim, 39-year-old Jason Trail Sr., from the home.
Trail died Monday afternoon at an Indianapolis hospital.
Five other people were in the home at the time. Their conditions have not been reported, though a 14-year-old and 5-year-old child are still being treated at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
