Indianapolis Metro Police are now investigating the shooting of a woman Friday in the 1400 block of Spann Avenue as a homicide. This is in the Fountain Square area on the southeast side of downtown Indianapolis
The Marion County Coroner's Office on Saturday that 24-year-old Jerrica Johnson of Indianapolis the victim of a homicide.
Police were sent to the home just before 7:00 a.m. Friday after a 911 call stating that a female was found not breathing. Officers arrived and found the woman deceased inside the home and called for Homicide Detectives.
