A local family is begging for justice, three days after a man was found dead at an apartment complex in Lawrence.

LAWRENCE, Ind. (WTHR) – A local family is begging for justice, three days after a man was found dead at an apartment complex in Lawrence.

“What if this your brother? Your son? Your nephew? Just anybody just speak up,” said Danielle Law, whose brother was killed.

Aaron Grice was found early Wednesday morning by family members who came looking for him. Grice’s mother, Mary East, said he went to meet a friend and was supposed to return shortly after.

“The image of his face is what I keep seeing at night time when I go to sleep. That’s the most difficult thing for me, because when I found my son. My son did not look like himself,” said East.

Saturday family and friends came out in memory of Grice, who leaves behind two children.

“It hurts me because if my son trusts him so much, it’s one of his friends and I don’t know who that person is to take my sons life or for that person my be in my face,” said East.

Police said they have gotten leads in the case, but so far no witnesses have come forward.

If you have any information on the murder, you can call Central Indiana Crime Stoppers at (317) 262-TIPS.
