AVON, Ind. — An Avon family escaped a house fire unharmed Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters from the Washington Township/Avon Fire Department fought the fire. Crews attacked the blaze to bring it under control.
They were assisted by firefighters from Wayne Township and Indianapolis.
There is no word what caused the fire.
