INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - An Indianapolis family is holding out hope that they will once again see their loved one, who has been missing for nearly five years.
Jessica Masker was last seen April 15, 2013.
Sunday marked her 29th birthday and her family celebrated in her absences.
“This is a way to we show her that we love her and we just want her home. we want everyone to know that we are not going to give up on her,” said Jessica’s sister Christer Masker.
Jessica’s family says she was battling substance abuse around the time of her disappearance. Masker was last seen near the area of Washington and Dequincy. Since that time leads have been slow.
“I don’t necessarily think that my sister left on her own will,” said Christina Masker. “there’s been absolutely nothing that was pertaining to her towards any tips or leads or any sightings or anything with my sister.”
Five years later, the family is still hoping that they will see her alive again.
“We need to bring our daughter, my baby girl home,” said Jessica’s mother, Cheri Edwards.
“We haven’t given up yet. We’re not going to give up until you are home safe…. Hopefully, it will be soon,” said Ashley Masker, Jessica’s sister.
Anyone who has information on Jessica’s disappearance can remain anonymous and call Central Indiana Crime Stoppers at (317) 262-TIPS (8477).
