DPW: Brookside Parkway improvements should be complete by September 2025

The first phase of the project should be finished soon, DPW reported.

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Department of Public Works said Wednesday the first phase of a major road rehabilitation project is almost wrapped up.

The city is spending almost $10 million to improve drainage and street structure along Brookside Parkway, McCarty Street and Washington Boulevard.

According to DPW, the first phase encompasses Brookside Parkway from Nowland Avenue to Rural Street, and McCarty Street from Capitol Avenue to Delaware Street.

The work started earlier this year and is expected to be completed by September 2025.
