INDIANAPOLIS — The downtown Indianapolis IMAX Theater in the Indiana State Museum is getting ready to help raise money for a good cause with the premiere of "Inside Out 2."
During upcoming screenings of the Disney film, the theater will donate $1 to Riley Children's Foundation for every kid's combo sold, and each moviegoer to donate $10 to the cause will get a free large popcorn.
"Inside Out 2," which opens nationwide June 14, returns to the mind of teenager Riley as her emotion headquarters get ready to welcome new emotions.
“Riley Children’s Foundation does great work for ours kids in the community, and this film is also doing great work teaching kids about their emotions,” said Neale Johantgen, IMAX theater manager. “We love that the main character’s name is Riley, and we love to be able to give back in any way that we can; it was a perfect fit! This movie is the perfect opportunity to do just that!”
Moviegoers can use validated parking in the White River State Park parking garage.
