INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD homicide detectives are investigating after a woman was found dead with traumatic injuries on Indianapolis' east side Thursday morning.
Just after 11 a.m. Feb. 1, officers responded to a report of a person found dead in the 2100 block of North Mitthoefer Road, near East 21st Street. Officers located a woman with trauma who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have not shared any additional information on the circumstances of the incident, including how the woman died and if any suspects have been identified.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 52-year-old Marianne Weis.
