Amanda Blackburn was murdered one week ago during a home invasion. No arrests have been made in the case, which has attracted national attention.

The pastor of Resonate Church talked openly about his grief, his wife's "celebration of life" service and how he wanted to communicate with Amanda.

"Now, as I'm trying to grieve and cope with this, I've started texting her phone.  Obviously, I know she's not going to respond, but I've just texted her. So, after Sunday's service, I told her, 'Baby, you would have been so proud of our church today.' And told her 16 people gave their lives to Jesus today because of you," said Blackburn.

"What an amazing Sunday yesterday. It truly filled my heart to see so many people in your church, Jesus. Learning, growing, and taking next steps.  Thank you for letting me see all of this with my own eyes," she wrote.

"The most confusing things in life are when bad things happen to good people. Amanda didn't have an enemy in the world," said Blackburn.

"We're confused. We're distraught. Sometimes we feel like there's no answers to it all, but we know that God has a plan to restore this. We know that He is amazing at - Amanda was amazing at restoring furniture. God's amazing at restoring lives," he added.
