INDIANAPOLIS — Emergency crews are working to contain a fire inside a hangar at the Indianapolis International Airport.
Airport fire crews responded to smoke coming from a FedEx hangar around 11 a.m. Friday.
An airport spokesperson says airport operations are not being affected by the fire and the fire is under control.
No injuries have been reported.
A spokesperson from FedEx released the following statement:
“We are aware of an incident involving one of our aircraft undergoing maintenance in Indianapolis. No one was injured as a result of this incident, and we are thankful for the quick response of our team members and first responders.”
