HENDRICKS COUNTY, Ind. — A crash involving an overturned snow plow truck closed eastbound U.S. 40 near Plainfield Saturday morning.
The crash was reported around 7:45 a.m. Feb. 24 in the 3600 block of East U.S. 40, close to Mecklenburg Drive and near the west side of Plainfield.
Images from INDOT snow plow cameras showed a snow plow truck had flipped in the crash and was off the side of the highway.
Additional information on the circumstances of the crash, including if anyone was injured, was not immediately available. 13News has reached out to police for more information on the incident.
According to INDOT, all lanes of U.S. 40 eastbound, except the turn lane, were closed at County Road 400 east through shortly after noon Saturday, and there was a spilled load.
