INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — We are getting an idea of what led to a deadly shooting Tuesday night outside a popular brewing company in the Clearwater Crossing strip mall.
According to court documents, it began over a game of cornhole at Drake's.
During that game, a friend who was with the accused shooter made a comment to a woman with the victim, Jason Frazier, 43, of Fishers.
That's when one of Frazier's friends threw a bean bag.
The suspected shooter, Gean Enyongegbe, 25, and his friend then went outside to fight Frazier and his friend.
It was during that fight that Frazier charged at Enyongegbe.
According to the court document, Enyongegbe warned Frazier to stay back and then shot him.
Friends of Frazier say he did not know Enyongegbe had a gun.
The suspect then waited for police and was arrested on a preliminary charge of murder.
The Marion County prosecutor will make a final decision on charges about what happened.
