INDIANAPOLIS — The Cosmic Takeover Tour recently announced that it's coming to Indianapolis, and another date has already been added!
Victory Field is one of the five lucky Triple-A ballparks to host the tour next year when the Tri-City Chili Peppers take their show on the road.
General admission tickets for the first game on Sept. 6, 2025, were sold out in just five hours; that's why the team decided to add another game for fans the day before on Sept. 5.
The Tri-City Chili Peppers are a college baseball team based out of Colonial Heights, Va., in the Costal Plain League. They play baseball under the world's only stadium-grade black lights, which allows their baseballs, bats, uniforms and more to glow in the dark.
"Cosmic Baseball blends traditional baseball with music and mind-bending special effects to create a one of-a-kind fan experience," a press release read.
The Chili Peppers will also be stopping in Durham, North Carolina; Allentown, Pennsylvania; Nashville, Tennessee; and Sugar Land, Texas.
“We are thrilled to have Victory Field included as one of five hosts for the 2025 Cosmic Takeover Tour,” said Randy Lewandowski, Indianapolis Indians president and CEO. “Cosmic Baseball puts another unique spin on America’s pastime and will ultimately attract and create new baseball fans along the way.”
