COLUMBUS, Ind. — A dental center in central Indiana went up in flames Tuesday morning, and officials are trying to figure out why.
Around 3:45 a.m. March 26, Columbus Fire Department crews responded to a report of a fire at the Columbus Family Dental Center in the 900 block of 3rd Street on the southwest side of town. When firefighters arrived, they found a blaze coming through the roof of the building.
Crews were forced to stay outside of the building and work to prevent the fire from spreading for around one hour before it was brought under control.
Officials say no one was injured in the fire and the business owners arrived on scene and spoke to investigators as crews were battling.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Columbus is approximately 50 miles south of Indianapolis.
