'Security incident' affecting some systems in Noblesville; Here's what we know

The city said the incident was under investigation and there was no additional information to share.

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — The City of Noblesville issued a statement Wednesday, Nov. 27, saying the city experienced a "security incident" that affected some of their systems. 

Lexie Rock, Noblesville communications director, said the incident was under investigation and had no additional information to share.

"Protecting the security and privacy of personal information is of the utmost importance to the city," the city said in a statement. "Upon learning of the issue, we commenced an investigation and began working with outside cybersecurity professionals who regularly analyze these types of incidents."

The city said it takes the matter "seriously" and will continue to take measures to "protect information."
