INDIANAPOLIS — A two-day festival is adding even more excitement to a packed weekend in downtown Indianapolis.
The "Circle SPARK FEST" brings live entertainment, local food, local vendors and hands-on creative activities led by Indy artists to downtown.
The festival, which runs from Oct. 28 to Oct. 29, is free to attend. It opens at 11 a.m. both days and closes around 6 p.m.
The fun will take place at the pop-up park on the southwest side of Monument Circle. This same spot has been closed to traffic all summer as a "temporary" green space and park, which was set up for "SPARK on the Circle."
SPARK Fest organizers are teaming up with UbeFest this year to bring more than 30 food, artist and vendors to Monument Circle for the festival. UbeFest is an event that brings people the taste of purple yam often used in Filipino cuisine.
