INDIANAPOLIS — A 5-year-old boy died Monday evening after being found in a pond on the west side of Indianapolis.
IMPD officers went to the 7200 block of Causeway Drive, which is near West 38th Street and Interstate 465, around 6 p.m. Aug. 6 on a report of a missing child. While they were searching the area, they found a person they believed to be the missing child unresponsive in a pond.
The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the young boy as Roby Chacreton.
The officers began providing CPR to Chacreton, who was taken to the hospital, where he died, police said.
