Carmel head football coach Kevin Wright has resigned after five years at the helm of the Greyhounds to take the same position at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
Wright will replace former Heisman Trophy winner Chris Weinke at IMG, who left to become the quarterbacks coach of the St. Louis Rams.
Wright leaves Carmel after appearing in three state championship games with one title win in 2011.
Wright previously coached at Warren Central, where he won three consecutive state titles from 2004-2006.
Former Indianapolis Colt E.G. Green will serve as Wright's Offensive Coordinator at IMG.
