FISHERS, Ind. — Police are investigating after a car crashed into a home in Hamilton County Wednesday afternoon, sparking a fire.
The incident happened Aug. 28 in the Sandstone Lakes neighborhood in Fishers, near East 116th Street and Brooks School Road.
In a social media post, the Fishers Fire Department said its crews "quickly extinguished the fire and took additional measures to ensure the scene was safe."
The residents of the home and the driver of the car escaped without injury, the department said.
The Fishers Police Department and CenterPoint Energy responded to the scene, in addition to the fire department.
