Bloomington partnering with local business to help residents with debris removal from June 25 storm

Beginning Monday, July 8 and continuing for two weeks, crews will collect tree debris from residents as long as the debris has been gathered into manageable piles.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — Following a severe storm that ripped through Monroe County on June 25, the City of Bloomington says it has a plan to help residents with the cleanup.

According to a release from the City of Bloomington, the city has partnered with Williams Tree Company of Martinsville to help assist residents with tree debris removal. 

Beginning Monday, July 8 and continuing for two weeks, crews will collect tree and vegetation-related debris from residents as long as the debris has been gathered into manageable piles. Residents are asked to bring the piles near the road while also ensuring they do not pose any safety hazards.
